Message	horse-pital in the world. Most of the Doc's I ran into were either intern hacks or long timers waiting to retire. Aside from the static displays, the base was bleak. I am thankful there was so much to do off base. Colfax had/has some seedy areas but wasn't too bad and trips up to Red Rocks Ampitheater, MileHigh Speedway, Cherry Creek Resevoir and Boulder were always fun. I haven't been in that area since '97 so I can only imagine how much has changed. Great area to live, especially if you're fortunate enough to afford a "good" side of town. I have to laugh every time I see Southpark and they make references to actual places in the area, especially "Casa Bonita!" and "Shakey's Pizza".
